Got some burning questions? Here are the answers to some of your questions we thought you might ask:

First off, a very warm welcome to you!

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your first class so we can get you signed up and settled in. Please bear in mind that strictly nobody will be allowed entry into the class once it has started; we really mean that.

We recommend the Slo or Grow-Pro classes to get you started. If you think you have what it takes, head straight to Flo and choose a mat towards the back.

Don't be nervous. There's no competition at YO so you can have fun and be yourself. So you’re not yogi material? Perfect! All the more reason for you to do yoga. You will be amazed at how quickly your flexibility can improve in our heated room. If you're injured, let the teacher know and we will guide you through a safe practice session.

The room is heated to warm the muscles to help prevent injuries and to allow a deeper workout. Sweating is a side benefit because it cleanses the body and leaves a healthy glow on your skin (R.E.M.'s Shiny Happy People song playing in the background)

Yes, yes, and yes! You will find the Flo and Grow-Pro classes are challenging (that’s why so many people come back for more). These classes combine strength, flexibility, and balance to give you a total body workout. Like other forms of cardio exercise, regular practice will aid weight loss.

As a beginner, it takes about 3 classes for your body and mind to understand the postures as well as what in the world you're doing in a hot yoga class!

Hence the introductory offer class. During the next 10 classes, digestion and respiration, as well as your endocrine, lymphatic, and elimination systems will begin to work harmoniously. It will help normalise your weight if you devote yourself to regular practice (at least 3 times per week). The more often you come, the greater the benefits. Hence, the unlimited monthly and yearly package offers.

Women normally wear fitted/sports tops and bottoms. Men wear shorts with a T-shirt or sports top being optional. Please do not wear underwear as outerwear and always be decently covered (you’d be surprised). And remember, white clothing when wet reveals all.

Drink yes, eat no. Try not to eat anything at least 3 hours before class.

We recommend that you stay away from heavy and salty food at least 3 hours prior to your class. None of the compression postures will feel at all comfortable while your body’s still digesting. We recommend you drink around half a litre of water an hour before class - enough to keep you hydrated without feeling bloated. And, of course, drink 2 litres of water daily to rehydrate.

We supply mats, although you are free to bring your own. We have fresh squeeze juices on sale and you can hire a towel for RM 10 that is refundable. The lockers are free and we have filtered drinking water for free refills. Just remember to bring an empty bottle.

Free parking spots are available in front and around Jalan 24/70A in Desa Sri Hartamas.

Otherwise, there are plenty of parking spaces in the basement of Galeria Hartamas just three minutes away; you can park there all day for a flat rate of RM5.80. MAP: (Jalan 19/70a, Desa Sri Hartamas, 50480, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).

Children aged 14-16 can do the full class with the consent of their parent or guardian as long as a practicing adult accompanies them.

Beginners never feel intimidated because our teachers never forget they were once beginners too. Advance students can deepen your practice with senior instructors learning and sharing the joys of yoga.

Hot Yo Masterclasses are focused and thematic based yoga class. It is a workshop based so every student gets full attention from our well-trained instructors.

Our Masterclasses are complementary to our Silver and Gold members, or with a surcharge for anyone who would like to indulge in the yoga mastery experience.

I am nervous about this… What if I am not flexible or un-fit or injured?

Don't be nervous. There's no competition at YO so you can have fun and be yourself. So you’re not yogi material? Perfect! All the more reason for you to do yoga.
